2 Corinthians 7:10 NASB
"For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death."
And ... once saved, no sin is held to the believer's account. It is for lack of faith in the potency and sufficiency of the blood of Christ and his finished work that people go around asking for forgiveness all the time and confessing their sins. We believers should not be sin conscious. We should be conscious of our righteousness in Christ Jesus.

"For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
Having repented, that is, having changed our thinking, and having decided to place our faith in Jesus for our salvation IS the will of God in which we will never regret. Walk in faith believing that your sins are forgiven and you are accepted by God, because you are securely in Christ. Amen!

This kind of repentance leads to salvation and a blessed assurance that, once we place our faith in Jesus, our sins are no longer counted against us. The verse John 6:40 underscores God’s will concerning salvation: every person who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life. This assurance gave me peace and released me from the chains of constant doubt and the fear of unforgiveness. It encouraged me to walk confidently in my faith, knowing that my standing before God is secure because of Jesus' finished work. It’s human to stumble, yet understanding that our faith secures our forgiveness helps break the cycle of guilt and the need for continuous self-condemnation. Living with this mindset allows us to focus on the grace and righteousness we have in Christ rather than our imperfections. It empowers us to live free from regret and to embrace God’s will for us, which is rooted in faith, grace, and eternal life. Walking this path daily has deepened my relationship with God and filled me with lasting hope and joy.
