Classic Pot Roast Dinner Plate 🥩🥔

The ultimate hearty comfort food combo for Sunday vibes every night!

📝 Ingredients:

For the Pot Roast:

3–4 lb chuck roast

1 tbsp olive oil

5–6 baby potatoes, halved

4 carrots, peeled & cut into chunks

1 large onion, sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

2½ cups beef broth

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp rosemary

Salt & black pepper to taste

For the Mashed Potatoes:

4–5 russet potatoes, peeled & cubed

½ cup milk

2 tbsp butter

Salt & garlic powder to taste

Optional: beef gravy from roast

For the Green Beans:

2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

1 tsp garlic, minced

Salt & pepper to taste

🍽️ How to Make It:

1️⃣ Sear the Chuck Roast:

In a large pot or Dutch oven, sear the roast on all sides until browned. This gives the best juicy flavor base for a next-level home-cooked dinner.

2️⃣ Build the Pot Roast:

Add garlic, onion, carrots, and baby potatoes around the roast. Pour in broth, Worcestershire, herbs, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook low and slow for 3–4 hours or until meat is fall-apart tender — the best slow cooker meal idea ever.

3️⃣ Mash the Potatoes:

While the roast finishes, boil russet potatoes in salted water until soft. Mash with butter, milk, and seasonings for creamy mashed perfection.

4️⃣ Sauté the Green Beans:

In a skillet, sauté green beans with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper until tender with a slight snap. They bring that fresh veggie contrast to all the rich elements.

5️⃣ Plate It Up:

On a plate, scoop mashed potatoes and top with gravy. Add a serving of roast with carrots, onions, and baby potatoes. Finish with green beans on the side. That’s a soul-warming plate of love right there.
