TW: Eating Disorder.

I have been pretty consistently posting on lemon8 for about 5 months now, I don't go into mental health all too much on my page. It's something so many of us struggle with, and if we talk about it more freely, it becomes easier to cope with. Throughout the past 5 years, my mental health has been an emotional rollercoaster. One of the main reasons I have been so absent is that I recently relapsed with my ED, and I have been trying to heal my relationship with food and my body before anything else. This shit is hard. No matter how hard you try or how much you do, one comment or one bad night can mess you up, and you are suddenly back to where you started. Healing doesn't start overnight, and when you are battling with other things with your mental health, it can take a village. Talk to people, please. Please don't shut people out, whether it's a therapist, a friend, a family member, or even a random coworker. Talk to people, even just to tell them your story.

Techniques like mindfulness, journaling, and engaging in hobbies can serve as vital tools in one's healing journey, providing solace and moments of joy amidst the chaos. Together, we can foster a supportive environment for discussing mental health and recovery.
