Sad :(
Ending a significant chapter like working in public relations is always emotional. Many people involved in PR develop strong bonds with their colleagues and clients, making the goodbye especially tough. From my personal experience, the last day is a mix of sadness and gratitude — sadness for leaving familiar routines and relationships, but gratitude for the skills learned and connections made. During your final moments in PR, it helps to take time to reflect on your achievements and lessons. Whether it was managing crises, crafting campaigns, or building brand stories, these experiences shape your professional identity. Moving forward, it's important to embrace the new opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Leaving PR doesn't mean those skills disappear; they often translate well into other fields like marketing, communications, or consulting. The feeling of 'goodbye PR' can initially feel like a loss, but it also marks a fresh start. Sharing your feelings with friends or on social media can provide comfort and support during the transition. Cherishing memories while staying open to growth can make farewells less daunting and more empowering.
