Hey everyone! It's Natthebratt_ here, and today I'm diving deep into a routine that's taken over my feed: Shelby Ann's viral drugstore makeup. I saw all the hype, and as someone who loves a good affordable find, I knew I had to give it a try. My goal? To see if these budget-friendly products could truly deliver that 'full glam' effect without breaking the bank. Let's get into my personal experience and some tips I picked up along the way! First things first, the skin prep. Shelby Ann really emphasizes this, and honestly, it’s a game-changer. I started with a milky toner, and while she uses Thayers, I opted for a similar hydrating one I had, just like the OCR mentioned about swapping products. Then came the Elf Thirst Burst Drops – my skin literally drank these up! Followed by the Elf Whoa Glow Sunscreen, which truly gave me that luminous base before any foundation even touched my face. My personal tip here: don't skip the sunscreen, especially if you want that lit-from-within glow that lasts all day. Moving onto foundation and concealer, this is where things got interesting. I used the L'Oréal True Match, and just like the article mentioned, I had to mix two shades to get my perfect match. It's worth the effort, trust me! For concealer, Shelby Ann uses *a lot*, and I was a bit nervous about the L'Oréal one she recommends. My usual routine involves far less, but I powered through, blending it out with a damp beauty blender. The key, I found, was to trust the process. It looked a bit much at first, but once blended, it truly brightened up my under-eyes – no more looking like I only slept for two hours! Next up, the cream products: Milani Cheek Kiss Bronzer and Sheglam Liquid Blush. The Milani bronzer is incredibly user-friendly; it blends out beautifully and is perfect for beginners. My personal hack for the Sheglam blush? Apply a tiny dot and blend with your fingers or a sponge. These are super pigmented, so a little goes a long way to achieve that perfect flush without looking overdone. I’ve used these for a while, and they never disappoint! To set everything, I used the L'Oréal Infallible Pink Powder. This product is a bit of a hunt to find, but it truly brightens the under-eye area. If you can't find it, a finely milled translucent powder can work wonders too. For brows, the L'Oréal Brow Lamination gel is fantastic, but I agree with the OCR comments about the applicator being a bit wide; I tend to wipe off excess product before applying to avoid a messy look. Finally, the lips! I used the NYX Duck Plump Liner and L'Oréal Satin Lipstick, topped with Maybelline Lifter Gloss. I picked shades that suited me best, and the plumping effect from the NYX liner really made my lips look fuller. My final setting spray was the Hard Candy Glow on Lock – an amazing dupe for the L'Oréal one Shelby Ann uses and it really locks everything in place! Overall, trying Shelby Ann's viral routine was a huge win for me, Natthebratt_! It really highlighted how amazing and effective drugstore makeup can be. My biggest takeaway? Don't be afraid to experiment with the amounts of product, especially concealer, and always trust the blending process. I’ll definitely be incorporating many of these steps and products into my daily routine. Which viral routine should I try next? Let me know!
