Grabie vs Let's Resin
I bought and tested out 2 gel pen brands. I personally loved Grabie better. have you tried any? which result do you like better?
Hey creative friends! You know how much I love finding the perfect tools for my art, especially when it comes to adding a little sparkle. Recently, I've been seeing a lot of buzz around Grabie glitter gel pens, and I just had to get my hands on them. My exact set was the Grabie® 18 RETRACTABLE GLITTER GEL INK PENS – yes, 18 vibrant shades of pure glittery goodness! What really caught my eye about these Grabie pens was the 'retractable' feature. Honestly, I'm tired of losing pen caps, so this was a huge plus for convenience! No more fumbling around, just click and create. The first thing I noticed when I started coloring with them was the incredibly smooth ink flow. There’s nothing worse than a glitter pen that skips or globs, right? These Grabie pens laid down color beautifully, consistently, and without any messy starts or stops. The glitter itself is super fine and evenly distributed in the ink, giving a really professional, dazzling finish to my coloring pages and doodles. The colors are also wonderfully vibrant, even when dried, which isn't always the case with glitter inks. Now, I also wanted to compare them to another popular brand I've used, Let's Resin. While Let's Resin pens do offer a nice glitter effect, I felt like the Grabie pens had a slight edge in a few key areas. For starters, the Grabie pens felt more comfortable in my hand during long coloring sessions, which is a big deal if you're like me and can get lost in a project for hours. The retractability, as I mentioned, was a game-changer for my workflow. But the biggest difference for me was the consistency of the glitter. With Grabie, every stroke was packed with sparkle, whereas with Let's Resin, I sometimes found myself having to go over areas to get that full glitter impact. The drying time also seemed a tad faster with Grabie, which is crucial when you're layering colors or working on quick crafts to avoid smudging. I've used these Grabie glitter gel pens for a variety of projects already. They're fantastic for adding highlights to my bullet journal, making greeting cards pop with a bit of sparkle, and, of course, bringing my coloring book characters to life. The 'Glitzer-Gelstifte' (as they call them in German, which I saw on the packaging!) really live up to their name – they truly glitter! If you're into journaling, scrapbooking, or just love adding a bit of shimmer to your everyday notes, these pens are definitely worth checking out. Of course, no pen is perfect for everyone. If you prefer a very subtle shimmer, these might be a bit too bold with their glitter for you. But if you're like me and believe more glitter is always better, then Grabie is definitely a brand to consider. My personal experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I'm genuinely impressed with the quality, especially for the price point. So, if you've been on the fence about trying Grabie pens, especially their glitter gel ink pens, I hope my little review helps! Have you tried them? Or do you have another go-to glitter pen brand? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments! Happy crafting!
