... Read moreWow, what an incredible day! I was so excited to be there for the opening day at Six Flags Great America for the 2026 season, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The energy was just electric from the moment we arrived! Walking up to the main entrance, seeing those grand American flags waving under the clear blue sky, really sets the mood. It's such an iconic welcome to a day full of thrills. The park was already bustling with families and friends, all eager to dive into the fun. As we explored, I was struck by how beautifully maintained everything was. The vibrant orange and yellow tulips were in full bloom, adding such a cheerful splash of color, especially around the grand carousel. Speaking of which, the carousel looked absolutely stunning, and I even spotted the "SIX FLAGS" mural, which is always a fun photo op. The area around the great america pool was already buzzing, and it’s clear Hurricane Harbor is going to be a popular spot once the weather truly heats up! Of course, no visit to Six Flags Great America is complete without experiencing some rides! While I didn't get on every single one, I definitely made sure to hit a few of my favorite roller coasters. The screams of joy and excitement were contagious!
