Books to inspire Montessori method

I know we’ve all seen companies claim Montessori and have likely seen a school or two while driving but have you ever considered tryimg it out or wondered what Montessori really is all about?

This series is great and gives you the opportunity to learn in a digestible and visually appealing way! Something fantastic about this series is it goes up to age 13 and starts at age zero! It offers amazing advice that beginners and experienced people can benefit from. I find the charts of when to introduce skills to be particularly helpful and find myself revisiting them often.

I HIGHLY recommend you check them out!

at the end of my pics I also added a wonderful activity book that I’ve found so fun to pull from. I like too that there are ideas my special needs son can enjoy since sometimes activities can be hard to tailor to his needs. If you have a younger kiddo I def reccomend it!!

... Read moreThe Montessori method is a child-centered educational approach that emphasizes independence, hands-on learning, and respect for a child’s natural psychological development. Many parents are exploring this teaching philosophy at home, particularly with the wealth of resources now available. In recent years, books like 'The Montessori Toddler' and 'The Montessori Baby' by Simone Davies and Junnifa Uzodike have gained popularity for their approachable methods that engage young minds. These books serve as fantastic tools that not only guide parents through the principles of Montessori but also provide practical activities aligned with children's developmental milestones. Additionally, the 'Montessori Series' includes age-wise charts that outline skill introduction, making it easier for parents to understand what activities are appropriate as their child grows. Such charts are invaluable, especially for first-time parents looking to implement Montessori at home. Furthermore, the inclusion of special needs adaptations within these resources is noteworthy, ensuring that every child can participate meaningfully. Whether your child is a curious toddler or an aspiring innovative thinker, these books cater to a range of age groups and learning styles, making them a must-have for any Montessori home environment. Enjoy exploring the series and tailor your child's learning journey at home!
