hiii!! the other day i saw this book in barnes and noble and immediately picked it up! i haven’t started reading it yet but am very excited to!

summary:

A four-year-old Mi'kmaq girl goes missing from the blueberry fields of Maine, sparking a tragic mystery that haunts the survivors, unravels a community, and remains unsolved for nearly fifty years

from what iv gathered the book is written from 2 different povs. The first is a son from Nova Scotia whose family traveled to Maine every summer to harvest blueberries. The second is a young girl named Norma who grows up in Maine with an overbearing mother and emotionally distant father.

i’m new the lemon8 but if anyone has any book recommendations please let me know! im open to reading just about anything as i kinda just recently got back into reading this past summer! i will give an update about this book once i finish reading!
