i saw this webtoon recommendation on lemon8 and gave it a try. I COULD NOT STOP READING IT. the illustrations are COLORED and BEAUTIFUL.
the plot is good while there’s a steamy romance that slowly unwinds. it kept me on the edge of my seat and i never really could guess what would happen next.
PRO: it was released years ago so you can binge read it all you want without having to wait for weekly episodes to release
CON: the story ends on a cliff hanger and the writer hasn’t made a committed decision on if she’s going to finish the story or not ㅠㅠ
she took a huge break from it and social media due to some personal life circumstances. bless her! i hope she’s healing and even if she doesn’t finish it i really enjoyed what she gifted to us 🙂↕️🫶🏽
i was so deprived of wanting to know how the story went on that i paid $5 to join her patreon! apparently she has other stories on patreon and ongoing episodes of midnight poppyland but it’s all NSFW and not full episodes. i liked that this was a slow burn romance so much that i was actually disappointed in all the NSFW content she made for it behind the scenes. but if you’re into that then it’s a plus for you! at the end of the day, im glad i could support the artist financially anyway!
