Say yes

✨ Stewardship looks different when you really understand it…

Sitting here with my chai latte, I had a moment with God.

I used to think being a good steward was just about money… but it’s deeper than that.

It’s about how you handle your gifts, your peace, your yes, and even your healing.

God has been showing me that saying yes to Him isn’t always loud… sometimes it’s quiet, hidden, and feels like preparation.

But that “yes” is aligning you with His plan—even when you don’t fully understand it.

I’m learning to trust Him more than my doubts.

To show up, even when I don’t feel ready.

To build with Him, not just for myself.

📖 “God is within her, she will not fall.” – Psalm 46:5

Your yes matters.

Your obedience matters.

And what God placed inside of you… it’s not by accident. 💛

... Read moreReflecting on stewardship has truly transformed my perspective in recent times. Initially, I believed stewardship referred mainly to managing finances responsibly, but it’s become clear to me that it’s about much more—how we handle every gift God has given us, including our peace, healing, and willingness to say yes to His guidance. One key lesson I’ve learned is that saying yes to God isn’t always a dramatic, outward event. Sometimes it’s quiet and feels like just preparation or waiting in secret. But even these silent yeses matter immensely because they prepare us for the purpose God has laid out. For example, I recall reading Luke 5:1-11, where the disciples said yes to Jesus’ call even though it seemed uncertain at the time. Their obedience opened the way to blessings they hadn’t imagined. It’s also helped me recognize that my yes can impact not only my own life but others’ lives around me. The OCR content emphasized that someone might be waiting for my yes, and my refusal could hinder God’s purpose in their life. This motivated me to embrace faith and obedience more courageously, knowing my simple yes can be part of God’s bigger plan. Moreover, I’ve found solace in trusting God more than my doubts or feelings of unreadiness. Psalm 46:5—“God is within her, she will not fall”—has been a comforting reminder that God sustains us when we step out in faith. Showing up, even when unsure, builds a relationship with God where we co-create rather than work alone. Ultimately, stewardship is about surrender—holding lightly to what we have and generously offering our yes, gifts, and obedience to God’s work. This mindset shift has enriched my faith journey, helping me see my role as a partner with God in fulfilling His purpose on earth. If you’re wrestling with doubt or waiting for clear signs, remember that even a quiet yes given with trust is powerful and meaningful.
