Rebuilding 🖤
Less than two months ago, I was standing in my yard watching everything I've built burn to the ground.
I remember crying and looking at my husband and saying, "This is it. We're done." And at that moment, I truly believed everything I had worked so hard to build was gone. What most people haven't seen are the weeks that followed...the love, the support, the donations, the messages, the long days trying to recover from the fire. Replacing inventory. Recreating products. Working through orders that were affected. Trying to figure out what comes next.
And now, while we're still recovering, we're also in the middle of moving and things are so hard.
To be honest, I'm exhausted.
I'm tired in a way I don't know how to explain amymore. I'm trying to rebuild a business, recover from a fire, move my family, create new products, fill orders, take care of five kids, and somehow keep everything moving forward at the same time.
There have been many moments when I've wondered how much more I can handle.
But every morning, I get up and keep going.
Because this business isn't just a business to me. It's something I've poured my heart into. It's what helps support my family. It's what I've spent years building, and I'm not ready to walk away from it.
If you've ever supported my small business, shared a post, placed an order, recommended me to a friend, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines, thank you.
Right now, every order truly matters, I dont know how else to put that. Every order is going to either feeding our family or being poured right back into the business.
If you've been thinking about shopping with us, I would be incredibly grateful if you'd take a look at our website. I don't have much listed but what I do habe was made with love and intention...And if shopping isn't possible right now, sharing this post helps more than you know.
I'm still here.
I'm still rebuilding, slowly.
And I'm still fighting for this business every single day, even with tears in my eyes.
