💐 hopefully one of yall can knock sense into her, but sadly probably not 😭

i just hope their cage and food containers don’t look like that often and they clean it once a week MAXIMUM 😭

in the photo of the water container it almost looks like mold, but may just be built up food, either way that means it’s been forever since it’s been cleaned which is obviously terrible 😭

💐 so to anybody reading this please don’t get a pet if you don’t intent to keep it in a clean environment, and put its safety above all

💐 we all have our days but to ignore the problem like you did nothing wrong, that’s when animals get sick

💐 I have 2 birds and clean their cage as much as I can, and clean their food dishes every few days

... Read moreCaring for pets, especially birds, is a significant responsibility that requires regular attention and effort. Neglecting proper hygiene can lead to severe health issues for these delicate creatures. It’s imperative to clean food and water containers frequently to prevent mold and bacteria that could harm their health. The frequency of cleaning should be at least once a week, but ideally, it should be done every few days, depending on how quickly these items accumulate dirt and food residue. Many pet owners mistakenly believe that as long as their pets are fed, they do not need to worry about their living environment. However, a clean cage contributes to the overall well-being and happiness of pets, reducing the chances of infections or diseases. Education on proper pet care practices is vital, and its absence can lead to tragic outcomes for pets. One notable issue is that improper cleaning can severely affect a bird's mental health. Birds are social animals, and a clean environment promotes their mental stimulation and happiness. Keeping the cage clean also minimizes stress, allowing your birds to thrive in their home environment. Thus, every pet owner must acknowledge the importance of pet hygiene and its effects on health. As animal lovers, we should always prioritize the safety and happiness of our pets, recognizing that they rely on us to provide them with a clean space to live. Ultimately, the responsibility of ensuring their well-being lies in our hands. By sharing information and fostering better practices, we can educate others on the importance of proper care, ultimately benefiting the entire pet community.
