my current Christian struggle
I feel like I never have time, and when I do my brains exhausted and doesn’t want to do anything that makes my brain think. I go to the gym for 2-4 hours daily, and I usually don’t have a rest day during the week. and I study for the whole day until about 4:30, do household chores throughout the day, then spend time with family and help them out. by the time I have free time I’m exhausted and don’t want to read the word because my brain can’t comprehend or focus. I can do something light like a prayer or watching tiktoks about God but other then that my brain can’t handle it, my body’s pretty burnt out and has been for a long time 😭 and people say “if you want to be with God you’ll make time” like I’d do anything to not feel like this- but not everybody has the same mental and physical limit. have been waking up late- about 8-9, and here I am in bed by 7pm ready to sleep. not to mention I have horrible mental health (which I’ve had my whole life & have been diagnosed) which already takes a toll on my mental and physical 😭 anybody else this is happening to? (And no I can’t cut gym or study time, it’s crucial for my career)

In today's fast-paced world, many individuals face the struggle of finding time to nurture their spiritual lives. It's common for busy college students, professionals, and caregivers to experience burnout, leaving little room for faith-related activities. With the pressures of gym regimens, academic responsibilities, and family obligations, maintaining a strong connection with God can feel overwhelming. Mental health concerns, especially, can add another layer of difficulty for those trying to follow their faith while managing daily stressors. Research shows that having a routine can significantly help in creating a balanced life that includes time for prayer or reflection. Finding small moments throughout the day, such as during a commute or while exercising, to connect with God can be beneficial. Engaging with online communities or support groups focused on Christian struggles can also provide encouragement to those feeling isolated. Remember, it's perfectly okay to have periods of doubt or exhaustion; the important part is to find what works for you in reconnecting with your faith, no matter how small those steps may seem.

You can download a bible app. Most of them have an audio option, and while you are working out, you can listen to the bible being read. You could even follow along to the reading while on a machine if you would like. You can have it playing on your way to and from work or running errands. You can also talk to God while working out or doing chores. I talk to him in the car, on the toilet (I know TMI), doing dishes, cooking, etc. He is my bestie, so anytime I have something to say or when I'm thinking about something, I share it with him.
