Today, I'm building a DIY hand-cranked cat litter box for my rescued cats in America. Using a recycled water bucket, metal pipes, and wood, I designed a self-cleaning litter box that filters waste automatically when you turn the handle - no more scooping by hand!
It started raining again (as it often does in autumn here), but I didn't stop. Under a small canopy, I kept working until the project was done. When the cats finally tried it, everything worked perfectly - clean litter on one side, waste neatly filtered out on the other.
Now our stray cats shelter has a weatherproof litter box that keeps them safe, dry, and happy. Projects like this remind me how much a little creativity and compassion can improve animals' lives. 🐱
