A Ragdoll Cat Abandoned for a Week… Turns Out It's Been Suffering Much Longer
Sometimes rescue stories begin in the most unexpected places - like a dim hallway where a scared, dirty Ragdoll cat had been abandoned for over a week. What looked like seven days of neglect quickly revealed something far worse: this young cat had likely been uncared for for months, maybe even a year. His fur was matted into hard knots, he was covered in an unbelievable number of fleas, and beneath the long fur he was painfully thin.
But the moment I reached out my hand, he came over gently, rubbing against me like he had been waiting for someone to finally notice him. After the bath, he transformed - clean, soft, and finally looking like the young cat he truly is. I put a tiny yellow hoodie on him and gave him a name: Little Yellow Hat.
