It reminds us all of the profound impact she had on our lives and the love that continues to bind us. And on days like these, it’s also important to be gentle with myself. Grief isn't linear, and a heavenly birthday can sometimes feel just as raw as the first one. I allow myself to cry, to remember, and to simply be in that space of missing her. I light a candle in her memory, a small flame symbolizing the light she brought into my life.
