plan september with me using goodnotes! ☕

september has begun, which means the autumn season is around the corner! although, here in the netherlands it doesn't feel like it just yet. today I wanted to show you how I planned this month using goodnotes. ✨

💗 first, I open the planner in goodnotes and started handwriting my schedule using my apple pencil. it is also possible to write it in text.

💗 then, I add my preferred stickers. this time I used my autumn themed stickers, to get in the autumn mood!

💗 lastly, I write down any additional notes and my to do list for this month.

I'm excited for all the good things to come this month!

... Read moreBeyond just creating my monthly calendar, I've found Goodnotes to be an absolute game-changer for overall planning and organization. If you're wondering how to really make your digital calendar shine or need more ideas for titling your notes and sections, let me share some of my favorite tips! One of the biggest advantages of using Goodnotes for my calendar, especially compared to a traditional paper planner, is the flexibility. I love that I can easily move events around, erase mistakes without a mess, and even duplicate pages if I need more space for a busy week. It's super practical! Plus, having everything on my iPad means I always have my schedule with me, whether I'm at home, at work, or on the go. I often use my Apple Pencil to quickly jot down appointments or thoughts, making it feel just like a physical notebook but with all the digital perks. When it comes to making your Goodnotes calendar truly effective, I've learned a few things. First, don't be afraid to experiment with different templates. While I love my current September layout, sometimes a weekly or even daily view helps me drill down into tasks. Second, color-coding is a lifesaver! I assign different colors to categories like work, personal appointments, and hobbies. This way, a quick glance at my digital September calendar tells me exactly what type of day I'm looking at. And speaking of visuals, those autumn-themed stickers – like the little bear, mushroom, and leaf – aren't just for decoration; they can be fantastic visual cues for specific events or moods. For example, I might use a leaf sticker next to a reminder for an outdoor activity. Now, let's talk about Goodnotes title ideas to keep everything super organized. Just like you'd title sections in a physical binder, doing the same in Goodnotes makes navigation a breeze. For my monthly calendar page, I usually keep it simple with 'September Overview' or 'Monthly Goals.' But for daily or weekly planning pages, I get more creative. For instance, I might title a weekly spread 'Week of [Date]: Cozy Autumn Plans' or 'Productivity Peak: My Goodnotes Week.' For individual note pages within my planner, I use descriptive but engaging titles like 'Autumn Bucket List Ideas,' 'October Mood Board,' or 'Weekly Reflection & Wins.' If I'm brainstorming ideas, I might even title a page something fun like 'Brain Dump Zone' or 'Creative Sparks.' The key is to make titles clear enough for you to find what you need quickly, but also inspiring enough to make you want to open that page. Using headings and subheadings within your handwritten notes also helps a lot to break down information. Ultimately, Goodnotes isn't just a calendar; it's a personalized digital planning hub. By using my Apple Pencil to combine handwritten elements with flexible digital tools, and by thoughtfully titling my sections, I feel so much more in control of my month. I hope these extra tips help you customize your own Goodnotes experience and make your planning even more enjoyable and productive!
