hi guys!

in this series of posts, I'll answer some of the frequently asked questions about my iPad.

- which iPad do you use?

I use the iPad Pro 11 inch (2018)

- what are your favorite apps?

I love using 'objet' for image cut outs, 'procreate' for digital art, 'vllo' for video editing, 'goodnotes' for note taking, 'ifontmaker' to create my own fonts, 'ifont' to install fonts, 'paper' for journalling, 'handy' for installing icon themes and 'dropbox' to store all my files.

- where did you find your app icons?

I actually draw them myself!

... Read moreWhen I first got my iPad, I was just like many of you, wondering, “What should I draw on my iPad?” and generally had a ton of “iPad questions!” It’s such a powerful device, but sometimes the possibilities can feel overwhelming. My journey started with exploring different creative outlets, and I've found a few paths that might inspire you. For drawing, beyond simply using Procreate (which is fantastic for everything from quick sketches to intricate digital paintings!), I love to use my iPad for digital journaling. It's a wonderful way to combine art and words, creating beautiful spreads that are personal and unique. You can experiment with different brushes, textures, and even incorporate photos directly. Another idea is character design – try creating your own characters or fan art from your favorite shows. The Apple Pencil, which I pair with my iPad Pro 11 inch (2018), truly transforms the experience, making it feel just like drawing on paper. Don't be afraid to just doodle! Sometimes the best ideas come from free-flowing creativity. Beyond art, I've also learned so much about maximizing my iPad for productivity and organization. One of my favorite additions has been a comfortable keyboard, like my pink one, which makes typing notes in Goodnotes or drafting longer pieces so much easier. It really turns my iPad into a versatile workstation. For general iPad questions, many people ask about file management. I rely heavily on Dropbox, as mentioned, to keep my files organized and accessible across all my devices. It’s a lifesaver for creative projects that involve multiple assets. Customizing my iPad has also been a huge part of making it feel truly mine. While I love designing my own custom app icons, if you're not into drawing, there are tons of icon packs available online that can give your iPad a fresh, personalized look. Themes can range from minimalist to pastel, or even specific fandoms! Just search for “iPad aesthetic themes” or “custom app icons” to find inspiration. Consider how you want your home screen to reflect your personality or workflow. Little touches like these can make your daily interaction with your iPad so much more enjoyable and inspiring. Exploring these aspects has helped me turn my iPad from just a device into an indispensable creative and productive tool.
