New Mural

This is what makes them so powerful! Imagine walking into a room and being greeted by a vibrant mushroom forest, just like the one I’ve created – it completely changes the atmosphere. Historically, murals have been around for thousands of years, from the cave paintings of Lascaux to the frescoes of Pompeii and the Renaissance masterpieces. They've always served various purposes: to tell stories, convey messages, commemorate events, or simply beautify public spaces. Think of Diego Rivera's epic historical narratives or the bold street art you see in cities today. Each one speaks volumes about its time and place. What I find fascinating is the sheer variety. You have frescoes, where pigments are applied to wet plaster; then there's mosaic art, using small pieces of colored material; and of course, the vibrant spray-painted street art that has become so popular. My own project, the Mario forest, falls into the category of painted wall art, where I used acrylics to bring those beloved characters and landscapes to life right on my wall.
