📲 How to Move LINE Chats from Android ➡️ iPhone

Going to change from Android to iPhone and afraid that LINE chat will disappear? There is a way to keep it, but need to know the correct procedure. 🙌

📋 Things to prepare before moving.

Updated LINE to the latest version on both machines.

Use the same phone / email number when logging in.

Very important: The chat that the backup holds for only 14 days.

(Overdue = Lost chat history)

☁️ Chats (Android ➡️ iPhone)

In the old machine (Android):

LINE > Settings > Chats > "Backup in Google Drive"

Waiting for the backup to be completed.

In the new machine (iPhone):

Install LINE app

The system will ask "Restore the chat history," ➡️ press "OK" immediately.

⚠️. Caution.

- Don't press "Skip" in the chat recovery phase because it won't be reversible.

- Must be completed in 14 days after the backup.

- Make sure the backup is successful before changing the machine.

💡 Tips: Take an important text screenshot before moving the machine. In case of problems on the way.

เคยเจอปัญหาที่แบ็กอัพแชต LINE แล้วกู้คืนไม่ได้ไหม? โดยเฉพาะกับเครื่องระบบปฏิบัติการที่ต่างกันอย่าง Android และ iPhone ปัญหาที่เจอบ่อยคือแชตไม่ครบ หรือกู้คืนประวัติการแชตเก่า ๆ ไม่ได้เกิน 14 วันหลังจากสำรองข้อมูล ซึ่งเป็นข้อจำกัดสำคัญที่ต้องระวัง จากประสบการณ์ตรง ผมขอแนะนำว่าให้สมัครใช้ "การสำรองข้อมูลพรีเมียม" ของ LINE เพื่อให้สามารถกู้คืนประวัติการแชตย้อนหลังได้เกิน 14 วัน เผื่อเวลาที่เราเปลี่ยนเครื่องหรือเกิดปัญหาการสำรองข้อมูลปกติจะได้ไม่ถูกจำกัด นอกจากนี้ ควรตรวจสอบให้แน่ใจว่าเปิดใช้งาน iCloud Drive บน iPhone หรือ Google Drive บน Android พร้อมทั้งมีพื้นที่ว่างเพียงพอสำหรับการแบ็กอัพข้อมูล เพราะบางครั้งถ้าพื้นที่เต็ม การสำรองข้อมูลจะล้มเหลวและไม่แจ้งเตือนชัดเจน เมื่อจะย้ายเครื่อง ควรทำการสำรองข้อมูลในเครื่อง Android ผ่าน Google Drive ก่อน และตรวจสอบสถานะการสำรองข้อมูลใน LINE ว่าสำเร็จสมบูรณ์ไหม จากนั้นค่อยติดตั้ง LINE บน iPhone และล็อกอินด้วยเบอร์โทรศัพท์หรืออีเมลเดียวกัน ในขั้นตอนกู้คืนแชต อย่ากดข้ามเด็ดขาด เพราะหากข้ามไป จะไม่สามารถย้อนกลับมาเรียกคืนประวัติการแชตได้อีก และควรทำให้เสร็จภายใน 14 วันหลังแบ็กอัปเสมอ สุดท้ายถ้าเจอข้อความแจ้งเตือนหรือปัญหาใด ๆ ในการสำรองข้อมูลหรือกู้คืนแชต ให้ถ่ายภาพหน้าจอหรือบันทึกข้อความนั้นไว้ เพื่อใช้เป็นหลักฐานและค้นหาวิธีแก้ไขจากศูนย์ช่วยเหลือของ LINE หรือชุมชนผู้ใช้งานออนไลน์ เป็นทางเลือกที่ดีมากสำหรับคนที่ไม่อยากเสียข้อมูลแชตสำคัญไป
