✨March babies✨

Blessed Birthday to myself #StudioYadah and my baby!

Today I went to my orthopaedic

“Dr, dr, my left knee pain! The tendons below my left knee is very tight! Then sometime the pain can start from the 4th & 5th toes being “stuck” together.

Pain can b so acute, shot up to my left knee al the way to my hip!” And sometimes my hamstring also suddenly acute pain when I wake up!

It’s been more than a year. Please do something!

The Prof Dr came check on my leg, x-rayed.

“ Good all ur bones are intact.”

“A lot of such pain are cause of wear and tear, when we get old all kinda problems happen.

The tear which u experienced when u re playing ur tennis, ur badminton, ur running. They’re now appearing right now to ur body, now ur older.”

And he went on “a lot of old people right now are taking lotsa medicines to alleviate their pain in their body, just so they can grow older!

Dr “My father who’s now 75 yrs old is taking 20 type of medicines! All these will not cure, it just alleviate the pain, while they grow old and these drugs also has side effects. It’s no use, all these will not cure!”

I looked at him, without blinking an eye

“ no no no, I don’t wanna take medicines, pls refer me to physio and whoever can help me for good.”

The dr still go on,” a lot of people don’t like to hear it, ur diet also play a part in the pain experiencing. So yes, diet also very important …….”

“ Oh, then pls refer me to the dietician too.”

I don’t wanna suffer pain and very surely I’m not interested in living until so old.”

The doctor, looked at me a bit stunned. Turned to the clinician “ Refer her to both the physio and the dietician, try to get a fast appointment.”

😃🤪😃🙏

I think the dr shocked by my statements and he’s probably very surprised by them! Ok, I was a financial planner, and I’m in late 40s - different brain from a lot of elderly.

Confession:

I don’t know why the hell does so many elderly in singapore, yes, singapore an Aging population.

Why why why does elderly people wanna live so long when their body getting older and deteriorating and paying tons of money just to grow older ha?

Medical are expensive everything is expensive.

The most astounding fact is why is everyone paying tons of money to get older trying to alleviate the wear and tears of their body ha???! It’s a damn heavy financial burden.

Exercise more and eat clean diet!

Cheaper some more!

As for me I’ll just grow to the time where I had achieve my self-actualization to becoming a renowned Christian artist, finish the task God had given to me. After that, I wanna say bye bye to this world and go back to Lord Jesus.

... Read moreLiving with chronic knee pain and tendon discomfort can be a frustrating experience, especially when it stems from years of physical activity like tennis, badminton, or running. I’ve found that understanding the root cause—often wear and tear as we age—helps me take control rather than feeling helpless. When my doctor explained that the pain is typical for someone in their late 40s due to accumulated stress on joints, it made me rethink how I approach both my health and lifestyle. One thing that truly helped me was refusing to rely solely on medications as a quick fix. Like many others, I wanted a long-term solution that didn’t come with side effects or a heavy financial burden. Asking for referrals to physiotherapy and nutritional guidance proved to be a game changer. Physiotherapy sessions helped me with targeted exercises that improved the strength and flexibility around my knee and hamstrings, reducing pain episodes significantly. In addition to physical therapy, changing my diet played an unexpectedly vital role. Reducing inflammation with anti-inflammatory foods such as leafy greens, fatty fish, and turmeric became part of my daily habits. I also limited processed foods and sugars which tend to aggravate pain and overall discomfort. These dietary changes coupled with consistent low-impact exercise like swimming and yoga have greatly improved my mobility. Another aspect I advocate for is mental acceptance and setting realistic expectations for aging. Choosing to focus on self-actualization and meaningful personal goals rather than fearing old age helps to maintain a positive outlook. Exercise and good nutrition are more cost-effective and empowering ways to maintain health rather than spending large sums on medications that only mask symptoms. I encourage others experiencing similar pains or concerns about aging to seek professional advice, explore comprehensive treatment options like physio and diet, and prioritize lifestyle changes that nourish both body and mind. Protecting joint health early with balanced exercise, proper posture, and healthy eating habits is the best way to enjoy an active, fulfilling life with less pain as we age.
