Japanese From Zero — Worth It?

Just getting started with Japanese? This series is great if you don't know where to start.

You’ll learn vocab, grammar, and how to read and write — step by step.

My favorite part is how they are made workbook style. There are tons of exercises.

The author also runs a great YouTube channel: Learn Japanese From Zero — perfect for pronunciation and real-life phrases.

There’s a full book just for Kanji.

He’s got a Korean series too.

(I don’t own those though)

how expensive are the workbooks?

I found the first one at like a second hand book store so I got it for cheap and it was brand new and I have loved mine. I studied Japanese already in college but had been out of practice so it was a good refresher and I do always love watching the YouTube videos bc they go along with the book in the same order. I really need that kanji one😭
