Hey everyone! I've been absolutely loving the Locket app lately, especially for staying super connected with my long-distance best friends. Locket is more than just another photo-sharing app; it’s a living widget that brings your loved ones' photos directly to your Home Screen. Imagine unlocking your phone and seeing a brand new, live photo from your bestie or partner right there – it’s such a sweet surprise and a fantastic way to feel closer, no matter the distance. It’s perfect for capturing those spontaneous, unedited moments that make daily life special. Getting Started: Setting Up Your Locket Widget Setting up Locket is pretty straightforward, whether you're on an iPhone or an Android device. First things first, download the 'Locket Widget' app from your respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Once downloaded, you'll go through a quick setup process to create your account and invite your closest friends or partner. You can invite your bf/gf/bsf via text message, making it super easy to get everyone on board! Adding the Widget to Your iPhone Home Screen (and Lock Screen!): On your Home Screen: Long-press on any empty space until your app icons jiggle. Tap the '+' icon in the top-left corner. Search for Locket: Scroll down or use the search bar to find 'Locket'. Add Widget: Select the widget size you prefer (small, medium, or large – they all show live photos differently!) and tap 'Add Widget'. Drag it to your desired spot, and you're good to go! On your Lock Screen (iOS 16+): Head to your Lock Screen, long-press to customize, and tap 'Customize' at the bottom. Tap on the widget area below the clock, search for Locket, and add it. This gives you an instant glance at your live photos without even unlocking! Adding the Widget to Your Android Home Screen: Long-press: Tap and hold on any empty space on your Home Screen. Select 'Widgets': From the options that appear, tap 'Widgets'. Find Locket: Scroll through the list of widgets until you find 'Locket'. Place Widget: Tap and hold the Locket widget, then drag it to your preferred location on your Home Screen. You can often resize it after placing it by long-pressing on it again. Using the Locket App: Sending Photos & Interacting Once your widget is set up, the fun truly begins! Open the Locket app itself to send photos. The interface is super simple: it opens directly to a camera. Just snap a photo, and it instantly appears on the Locket widgets of all your connected friends (your bf/gf/bsf!). You can also add short captions or use simple reactions within the app to interact with the photos your friends send.
