I finally paid a visit to 𝑩𝒆𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒆 one afternoon and I can’t believe that I’ve only discovered this recently. Despite living in the area, I actually lost my way while hunting for this place as it is nestled in a back alley in Joo Chiat. I guess we can say that this is actually a hidden gem (IYKYK)?
I got their popular 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 and was impressed by how well the smooth peanut butter melded with the coffee. I could also taste both the peanut butter and coffee where the flavours did not overpower each other. I’m not a big fan of peanut butter but I can safely say that I would gladly brave the 15 minute walk from my home under the scorching hot sun for this again!
I also like how they have seats outside for customers to enjoy their beverages fresh upon order, and honestly, it is a whole vibe on its own too. Aside from drinks, Bee Hoe Coffee also serves light bites for those who wish to grab something to eat.
If you’re planning a visit to Joo Chiat area, I’d highly recommend you to slot Bee Hoe Coffee into your itinerary to get your caffeine fix.
Ps. They are located very close to popular cafe spots and Vietnamese restaurants which makes the trip down even more worth it!
