New Cafe in the East with 15% discount ✨

𝑪𝒓𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒔𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒆 has recently opened their newest outlet at Siglap V with a new menu. As I live in the area, I decided to give them a try.

Starting wit my favourite 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬, their 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐞 features a perfect medium-rare aussie sirloin steak with cacio e pepe. Essentially, cache e Pepe is made up of 3 main ingredients — butter, cheese and black pepper. Personally, I enjoyed this way more than those I’ve had at other Italian restaurant. My sister who has no tolerance for peppery food gobbled this up too!

For those seeking a balanced meal, go for their 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭. Featuring sourdough toast, avocado, sausage, hash brown, mesclun salad, baked beans and your choice of egg. Their 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 makes the perfect brunch item. Featuring truffled stracciatella, butter roasted portobello and 2 poached eggs sitting on a toasted sourdough toast. This is something new to me where I’ve never seen a dish like this. The addition of chilli crisp topping definitely elevated the flavours for sure! Finally, I got the 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐌𝐞 𝐔𝐩 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐡 comes with a housemate beef patty, secret burger sauce, an assortment of pickled vegetables. The tangy veggies helped to cut through the juicy beef patty, and the crunch from the salad gives the sandwich a textural crunch I didn’t know I needed.

For 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, their 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 and 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 are classic selections that can never go wrong.

For 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬, the 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭 features a croissant topped with whipped cream, fresh strawberries and drizzled with a strawberry sauce served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Next, 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜 𝐖𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 comes with a waffle topped with torched marshmallows, Nutella spread and topped with a scoop of chocolate ice cream.

Finally, we got a few 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬 to enjoy with the food — 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞, 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞, 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞, 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝. All of them tasted great where I can’t decide on which I like best!

From their range of pasta like the Bacon Carbonara with creamy Parmigiano Reggiano to the exotic Spaghetti with Tiger Prawns and Kombu, seafood lovers will find plenty to savor. I also noticed they prepare specialty open-face toasts topped with fresh ingredients like avocado, smoked salmon, and feta, which balance flavorful and light options. The dessert menu goes beyond the highlighted Crazy Strawberry Smashed Croissant and includes sweet treats like the classic Cookies & Cream waffle and the Timeless Waffle, both made with Japanese flour and Lurpak butter. If you’re an avid coffee enthusiast, their series of drinks with unique twists, such as the Matcha Goma Latte with toasted sesame flavor and the Taro Cloud topped with maple sea salt cream, offer exciting alternatives to regular lattes. For those interested in local coffee culture, the menu also features cold brews and affogatos made with Valrhona chocolate, a perfect match when paired with desserts. The casual yet vibrant atmosphere at their Siglap outlet makes it a great brunch or afternoon hangout spot. Plus, the location at Siglap V is convenient for locals and visitors alike. I’d recommend trying their Truffle Fries as a starter — they’re generously seasoned and pair wonderfully with any main dish. Also, the 15% discount via Grab Dine Out is an exceptional deal, especially since there’s no minimum spend, making it easier to explore various menu offerings affordably. Overall, Craftsmen Specialty Coffee in Siglap V stands out for its quality ingredients, innovative dishes, and cozy neighborhood vibe.
