*NEW* Japanese-Italian Restaurant by Omoté 🍝🍕

𝑵𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝑲𝒊𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒏 is a new Japanese-Italian fusion place at Lentor Modern serving the most delicious spaghettis and flatbreads. From the team behind Umai, Omote & Six Hands, you know the chefs have a good understanding of the Singapore palate.

My favourites were a 3-way tie between the 𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐔𝐧𝐢 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐨 and the 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝. The 𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 featured Korean chilli mascarpone, crustacean jus, satsumano crisps and the most generous heaps of sweet juicy lobster. I was really blown away by the intensity of flavours and huge delicious lobsters. Next, the 𝐔𝐧𝐢 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐨 featured sea urchin & truffle creama, poached lobster and katsuo nori. There was an equally generous amount of good quality lobster and the entire dish tasted like a creamy blast of the ocean. Meanwhile the 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 featured porcini mushroom purée, forest mushrooms and truffles. I was most blown away by the intense and enticing fragrance, I devoured this instantly.

I also had the 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐤 that was topped with chimichurri & red wine veloute. I found the portions were generous, the steak perfectly cooked and the toppings served to cut through the meatiness of the steak. I also got the 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 and was impressed by the freshness of the octopus. The 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐃𝐢 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐨 I got paired nicely with the pesto & tomatoes and was the best palate cleanser to pair with all the mains.

Nolita Kitchen is easily one of my top few tastings this year and I’ll definitely be back! You also get some really cute free pet accessories if you order takeaway with your pet! They are currently running a promotional menu where you can enjoy their food as discounted prices for the first week of their opening from 21-28 December.

... Read moreBeyond the amazing dishes I tried at Nolita Kitchen, it's worth noting how well the chefs balance Japanese and Italian flavors to create unique combinations that satisfy diverse palates. For instance, the use of Korean chili mascarpone in the Lobster Rose introduced a subtle spicy kick which enhanced rather than overwhelmed the dish. Additionally, the Black Truffle Flatbread's porcini mushroom purée made the dish aromatic and rich, bringing an indulgent earthiness. If you are planning a visit, I recommend trying the Octopus Fritti with White Truffle Cream; the freshness and texture of the octopus really stood out and paired beautifully with the subtle truffle notes. For meat lovers, the Florentine Black Angus steak is a must-order, with the chimichurri and red wine veloute providing a perfect acidic counterpoint to the richness of the beef. A nice touch that customers will appreciate is the pet-friendly takeaway promotion, which not only offers discounts during the opening week but also provides cute pet accessories for those dining with furry companions. This unique detail shows how Nolita Kitchen caters to community and lifestyle needs beyond just great food. Finally, the location in Lentor Modern makes it a convenient spot for those seeking new dining experiences outside the usual city centers. Reservations are recommended during their promotion period, as demand is high and seats fill quickly. Overall, Nolita Kitchen blends creativity, quality, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it well worth a visit or return trip for anyone intrigued by fusion cuisine.
