Ioni Beauty Fair
Pressed Blushes
Ioni is killing it with this seasons Beauty/Lash Fair designs. Their other blushes have been pigmented, so I expect no less from these two new shades. I dislike that they’re a bit smaller than the heart shaped ones, but I’m still excited.
The Dusty Pink/Parade looks to be a bit darker more muted whereas the Coral Pink/Tight Rope looks to be bright. Can’t wait to wear these. RUN TO YOUR LOCAL DOLLAR TREE
Okay, so let's talk about Ioni blushes – especially after grabbing these new Beauty Fair pressed blushes! If you're anything like me, you're always on the hunt for amazing makeup finds that don't break the bank, and Ioni Beauty has seriously been delivering lately. Their blushes, in particular, are a consistent hit, and it's not just because they're a Dollar Tree gem. What really makes Ioni blushes stand out, for me, is the quality you get for the price point. We're talking super affordable, but the pigmentation often rivals much more expensive brands. I’ve tried their previous heart-shaped blushes, and they were always so vibrant and easy to work with. That's why I had such high hopes for these new Beauty Fair shades: 'Dusty Rose' (which they're calling PARADE) and 'Coral Pink' (TIGHTROPE). When I heard about the new collection, I immediately rushed to my local Dollar Tree. The packaging for these is so cute, and the clear window showing the blush pan is a nice touch. I love that they specifically mention 'buildable & blendable' color on the box – that's key for a good blush, right? You want to be able to start with a sheer wash and then build it up to your desired intensity without it looking patchy. And the claim that it 'compliments all skintones' is fantastic; it means everyone can find their perfect flush. Let's dive a bit deeper into these specific shades. The 'Dusty Rose' (PARADE) looks like it'll be a beautiful, muted everyday pink, perfect for adding a subtle warmth to the cheeks. I can see myself reaching for this one for my 'no-makeup makeup' days or when I want my blush to complement a bolder eye look without competing. On the other hand, the 'Coral Pink' (TIGHTROPE) looks like it's going to be a real pop of color, ideal for brightening up the face, especially for spring and summer. I'm picturing it with a bronzed glow – chef's kiss! A little tip I've learned when applying pressed blushes, especially ones this pigmented: start with a very light hand. Tap your brush lightly into the pan, tap off any excess, and then apply to the apples of your cheeks, blending upwards towards your temples. It's always easier to add more product than to take it away. Given that these are 'buildable & blendable,' you'll have plenty of control to achieve your desired look. Another reason I'm such a fan of Ioni blushes is their wear time. For a Dollar Tree product, they tend to last surprisingly well throughout the day. Of course, setting spray always helps, but even without it, I find they don't disappear after just a few hours. If you haven't explored Ioni Beauty's offerings yet, their blushes are definitely a great place to start. They're an excellent way to experiment with different blush colors without a big commitment. Keep an eye out for them, and don't hesitate to grab a few shades next time you're at Dollar Tree – you might just find your new favorite!
