For example, the Sheer Glow Tint, despite its luxury price tag, transfers easily and requires constant touch-ups. I've found this frustrating, especially when I'm looking for a foundation that stays put throughout my day without fading or sliding. Similarly, concealers like Denona’s can initially cover well but tend to crease quickly under the eyes, which is disappointing because they don’t maintain a smooth finish. I’ve tried powders like Charlotte Tilbury Powder Blur and Huda Beauty Powder Blurs, but they often disappear within two hours and leave my skin looking dry or tired instead of fresh and radiant. Blushes and bronzers also pose their own challenges. YSL and Rhode blushes tend to fade fast or slip around, losing their vibrancy by midday. Even pricier options like Dior blush can appear chalky on dry skin, highlighting texture rather than concealing it. Bronzer sticks from Too Faced drag on the skin and apply unevenly, making blending a stressful task. Powder bronzers can look dusty and outdated, affecting the overall natural finish I desire. On the other hand, some foundations like Luxe deliver a flawless look that melts into the skin without caking, proving that not all products disappoint. My advice to anyone considering new makeup is to look beyond hype and luxury branding; consider how the texture feels, the product’s staying power, and whether it suits your skin type and tone. Trying samples before committing or reading reviews focused on real-life wearability can save you from costly and frustrating purchases. Overall, makeup that moves around, requires frequent touching up, or worsens the appearance of skin texture should be avoided if you seek a polished and long-lasting look. My honest experiences emphasize the importance of choosing products that complement your skin and lifestyle while delivering on their promises of coverage and durability.

So I don’t mean to like say your lying or anything, people do have opinions but I am curious. Do you do anything before putting on makeup by chance? Like any type of skin prep that isn’t primer? Because I have notice a big difference in product performance when and without any skin prep. Also many people don’t know but a lot of the time with completion make up there is different products for different skin types, ex ( oily skin, combo skin or dry skin) hopes this helps. ☺️
