Just finished reading “The House in the Pines”

In this book the MC (Maya) is haunted by the mysterious death of her best friend Aubrey. 7 years later, Maya finds a YouTube video of a girl dying the same way her best friend did. Maya immediately thinks it’s her ex Frank, but has no proof. As the book goes on, Maya slowly gets her memories back and starts to piece together everything.
I liked the premise of the book, and the fact that the MC has lost memories which slowly come back to her. However, the book was not the best, I thought the ending was a bit lack luster and I guessed the ending in the very beginning.
I would recommend it, but it’s not my favorite book I’ve read this year.

Once I start a book I have to finish it…. This was the worse book I’ve ever read and I read A LOT
