Lice 😱
How did "lice" get on our heads...
✨ back about 40 years ago.
There were no phones, no games, nothing to play with, kids like us.
Just jump on the tires, sell things, dress paper dolls.
Cycling. Running, hiding, sneaking around all day.
Life seems normal... without this "lice."
I started out in 4th grade.
And then it stayed with me until 6th grade.
Itchy head until it is normal Itchy and scratching like a peck to the lice.
My mom tried. Treat it all the way.
Pools, potions, combs, lice, lice out, wearing all this but never cured
And the PE teacher called me "lice."
The short words I see lice children, whenever they think of themselves and remember every now and then.
I didn't understand why it didn't disappear.
Until... 🤔
The day I had to turn myself in first grade, everyone had a check-up, and I was scared.
I was afraid of getting wheeled again, but when I actually checked, there was no lice, it was gone from my head.
The "lice" that has been with me all the time is gone, confused, unfocused, very amusing...
Growing up to know that it's healed may not be because we heal better, but because... we're not in the same cycle anymore.
A bad experience of my childhood that still remembers is never forgotten.

จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวกับปัญหาเหาที่เคยมีในวัยเด็ก เหาเป็นปัญหาที่หลายคนอาจจะเคยเจอและรู้สึกอายหรือไม่สบายใจ รวมทั้งการถูกล้อเลียนจากเพื่อน ๆ และคนรอบข้าง ซึ่งส่งผลต่อความมั่นใจและสุขภาพจิตของเด็กในช่วงเวลานั้น ถ้าตัดภาพกลับไปในยุคก่อนที่เทคโนโลยีและการเข้าถึงข้อมูลดูแลสุขภาพยังไม่ทันสมัย เหาเป็นสิ่งที่เรียกว่ามีโอกาสแพร่กระจายได้ง่ายมาก โดยเฉพาะเด็กที่อยู่ในกลุ่มเดียวกัน ใช้สิ่งของร่วมกัน เช่น หวี หมวก หมอน หรือแม้แต่การสัมผัสใกล้ชิดกันระหว่างเล่น ทำให้เป็นการยากที่จะควบคุมไม่ให้เหากลับมาอีก วิธีการรักษาที่ได้รับความนิยมในตอนนั้น เช่น การใช้ยาสระผมหรือทายากำจัดเหา ใช้หวีเสนียดเพื่อหวีเอาเหาและไข่ออก แต่ก็ไม่สามารถรับประกันการหายขาดได้ถ้าไม่ได้รับการดูแลความสะอาดอย่างต่อเนื่องหรือถ้าอยู่ในสภาพแวดล้อมเดิมที่มีเหาอยู่ สิ่งที่ช่วยให้เหาหายไป คือการหลุดออกจากสภาพแวดล้อมที่ทำให้เกิดเหา เช่น การไปโรงเรียนที่เปลี่ยนไป หรือการอยู่ในกลุ่มเพื่อนใหม่ที่ไม่มีเหา ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องที่หลายคนอาจไม่เคยรู้มาก่อนว่า "การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพแวดล้อม" ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งวิธีสำคัญที่ช่วยลดปัญหาเหาได้อย่างมาก จากประสบการณ์ตรงนี้ ผมอยากแนะนำให้ผู้ปกครองและเด็ก ๆ หมั่นดูแลรักษาความสะอาดของศีรษะและเส้นผมอย่างต่อเนื่อง หลีกเลี่ยงการใช้สิ่งของร่วมกับผู้อื่น และถ้าพบว่าเด็กมีเหาควรรีบรักษาตั้งแต่เนิ่น ๆ รวมทั้งปลูกฝังความเข้าใจในเรื่องสุขอนามัยเพื่อไม่ให้กลายเป็นปัญหาที่เรื้อรัง นอกจากนี้ การสร้างความเข้าใจให้กับเพื่อนรอบข้างไม่ล้อเลียนหรือทำร้ายนั้นก็เป็นเรื่องสำคัญ เพราะผลกระทบทางจิตใจจากคำล้อเลียนอาจส่งผลเสียต่อตัวเด็กมากกว่าอาการเหาเสียอีก สุดท้ายนี้ ประสบการณ์นี้เป็นบทเรียนที่ดีสำหรับเราในการดูแลตัวเองและเข้าใจว่าบางครั้งปัญหาไม่ได้อยู่ที่ตัวเราเองเท่านั้น แต่รวมถึงสภาพแวดล้อมและความรู้รอบตัวด้วย
