⭐️“When My Soul First Saw You”
I thought I was just coming to kick it,
maybe laugh a little, pass some time.
I saw your picture and thought, oh, he cute—
just a moment, nothing divine.
But then I saw you face to face,
and God must’ve taken His time.
Because never in my life
had I seen a man so beautiful.
You weren’t just fine…
you were breathtaking.
And when I laid in your arms,
it felt like I’d stepped into a scene
too tender for this world—
a holy kind of warmth,
a film of affection playing in real time.
Your touch didn’t just hold me—
it ignited me.
Electric.
I left your presence still feeling you,
as if your spirit refused to let mine go.
But deep in my mind,
a whisper—
what if he’ll never be mine?
Still …
you gave me hope.
The way you were so affectionate,
so unknowingly perfect
in everything I ever craved,
like a favorite sweet treat
meant just for my lifetime.
I know it was only the first time,
we hadn’t spoken of love—
but my soul…
my soul had already chosen.
It wrapped around yours
like a vine finding home,
knowing without knowing
this was something rare.
Something divine.
They say men are handsome.
But when I looked at you,
I saw something deeper.
You were beautiful.
Beautiful like sunrise after a storm,
like God’s art made flesh.
You went from “he cute”
to the most beautiful man in the world—
to me.
And baby…
I just wish you could see me
the way I already see you.
