Let’s talk about this book!

I recently finished this book by Liz Braswell

This was my first book from Liz and really my first beauty and the beast retelling, I didn’t know how I’d feel about it at first but went in opened minded. But I ended up loving it! I loved the way it started slow then picked up very quick. The twists in this book is IMMACULATE! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone that is interested in a good retelling!

Has anyone else read this? What’s your opinion?

... Read moreLiz Braswell's retelling of Beauty and the Beast presents a fresh perspective on the iconic story, exploring deep themes and innovative twists. What if Belle's mother had cursed the Beast? This intriguing premise sets the stage for a captivating plot that prompts readers to rethink familiar characters. Retellings are a fantastic way to re-engage with beloved tales. They breathe new life into classic narratives by allowing authors to reinterpret characters and relationships. In this version, readers can expect to see multifaceted portrayals of characters, challenging conventional motifs of love and redemption. The story's pacing, from a slow start to increasingly rapid developments, ensures that readers are hooked until the last page. Those interested in more enthralling minutes of storytelling might also enjoy other works within the Disney franchise or delve deeper into the realms of modern fairy tales. Overall, if you’re a fan of book recommendations, Disney books, or retellings, Liz Braswell’s version is a highly recommended addition to your reading list.

Honestly I have no words for how insane this book was. Definitely not what I was expecting but I also cannot stop talking about it. It’s a mix between romance and true crime when a 15 year old girl goes missing and 10 years later her family starts getting answers but none of the answers they receiv
