「水光カラコンとは？」って聞かれることが多いんですが、私の体感だと“瞳の中に光の筋（ハイライト）が入って、うるうる・ちゅるん感が出る”タイプのこと。普通のフチありカラコンより、写真でも目がきゅるきゅるに見えやすい反面、選び方を間違えると「浮いてるかも…」って感じやすいのも正直なところです。私が水光カラコンを選ぶときに見てるポイントは3つ。 1) ハイライトの位置：軸固定じゃないデザインだと、瞬きや目の動きで少し回って見えることがあります。特に明るめカラー（グレー系）は回転した時の“ハイライト移動感”が分かりやすいので、気になる人はナチュラル寄りの色か、ハイライトが細めのデザインを選ぶと安心。 2) 外フチの濃さ：外フチがしっかりしてると立体感が出て盛れます。ただ、黒目が小さめ・裸眼が暗めの人は、明るい内側×濃いフチのコントラストで浮くことも。私は「ベースが落ち着いててフチが暗め」だと派手になりすぎず使いやすいと感じました。 3) サイズ感（DIA/着色直径）：数字だけでなく“自分の黒目サイズに対してどれくらい盛れるか”が大事。今回の着色直径13.6mmは、デカ目に寄せつつも極端に宇宙人っぽくなりにくいゾーン。ちなみに「水光カラコン 14.5」を探してる人は、DIAが大きい分だけレンズが大きい＝盛れやすい反面、ハイライトも目立ちやすいので、最初は13.6前後から試すのもおすすめです。ブラウンとグレーで迷ったら、メイクの相性で決めるのが早いです。ブラウンは暖色メイク・ツヤ肌と相性がよく、グレーは透明感メイクやブルベ寄りメイクで“目の色がグレーっぽく見える”雰囲気が作りやすい印象。どっちが上（左右どっちに付けるべき？）は基本なくて、レンズの印刷が左右対称じゃない場合だけ、装着前に表裏と向きをサッとチェックすると失敗しにくいです。最後に、ハード/ソフトの違いもよく検索されますが、カラコンは基本ソフトコンタクト。装用時間を守る・乾燥する日は目薬や装着時間短めにする・違和感が出たら無理しない、を徹底すると水光系も快適に楽しめます。
