Coastal Vs. Tropical Summer

Which one do you prefer?

I have never experienced a coastal summer. I grew up in the islands where summer is all year long, and the weather is pretty humid - which not everybody likes. My favorite summer activity is family functions at the rock islands: swimming, barbecue, fishing/spearfishing, hunting, kayaking, paddling, beach volleyball, and exploring the islands 🏖️

How is coastal summer like? I’m curious 🧐

Coastal summers typically offer a milder climate with breezy beach vibes, perfect for activities like surfing, fishing, and sunbathing. In contrast, tropical summers are known for their warmth and humidity, providing ample opportunities for exploration, such as snorkeling and island hopping. Both environments boast unique wildlife and ecosystems, making them a paradise for nature lovers. Travel tips for coastal summers include checking the tide schedules for optimal beach experiences and researching local seafood restaurants for a taste of regional specialties. Tropical summers, on the other hand, might warrant bringing plenty of sunscreens and lightweight clothing to stay comfortable in the heat. Regardless of preference, both summer types enhance relaxation and active adventures. Engaging in community activities such as beach clean-ups or local festivals also enriches your experience, fostering connections with others who appreciate these vibrant environments. Ultimately, whether you lean toward coastal or tropical vibes, each summer experience offers its own set of unforgettable memories.

I actually live both, but if I have to choose, I'd stick with the tropical one. 🤙
