Hey y’all 💕
I know I’m a little late posting Spring Break content, but I still had to share this because it turned out so special.
This year, I created a Spring Break Theme Week for my kids since I had to work and couldn’t take them out of town. Every day had a different theme to keep things fun, creative, and affordable but I didn’t get to film every single day (mom life 😅).
One of our favorite days was our trip to Turner Falls Park in Davis Oklahoma about 1 hour and 45 minutes from us. It was BEAUTIFUL and such a good, budget-friendly getaway.
If you’re thinking about going:
✨ They have cabins you can rent (definitely doing that next time)
✨ There’s zip lining (we missed it, but it’s on our list for next time!)
✨ Perfect for a quick family trip without breaking the bank
Honestly, this whole week reminded me that you don’t have to spend a lot to create real memories with your kids.
If this helps even one mama save money AND still give her babies a good time, I did my job 🫶🏾
CC👇🏾 for the full breakdown of each themed day!
Safe travels & don’t forget to enjoy your life 💛

Planning a fun and affordable Spring Break for kids can be challenging, especially when work commitments limit travel options. Creating themed days at home is a fantastic way to keep children entertained and engaged without the stress of expensive trips. For instance, dedicating each day to a different activity—from arts and crafts to outdoor exploration—not only sparks creativity but also provides structure and excitement throughout the week. Turner Falls Park in Davis, Oklahoma, stands out as an ideal destination for families seeking a nature-filled getaway without breaking the bank. Located just under two hours away from many central Oklahoma locations, it offers stunning scenery, hiking trails, a waterfall, and kid-friendly zones. Renting one of their cabins can elevate the experience, providing a cozy base with convenient amenities. While zip lining is an exciting activity available at the park, even outdoor games and picnics near the falls create unforgettable memories. From personal experience, combining at-home themed days with an occasional local trip like Turner Falls adds variety and adventure to a family’s routine. It teaches children that enjoying quality time doesn’t require lavish spending, and it encourages appreciation for nearby nature spots. Budget-conscious travelers will find this approach refreshing and sustainable for creating joyful moments year after year. Finally, keeping a flexible mindset and involving kids in planning daily themes or excursions can boost anticipation and cooperation, making the whole experience more rewarding for everyone. Whether it’s a mini adventure or cozy crafts at home, these simple yet thoughtful ideas ensure a Spring Break filled with laughter, connection, and treasured memories.
