🌸 Bringing Home Our NICU Baby 🌸
With raw emotions and hearts full of relief, we’re overjoyed to share that she’s finally home! 🏡 No more hospital visits 🏥, no more nurses and doctors 👩⚕️👨⚕️, no more wires and cords, no more pokes and prods 💉, and no more fear of the unknown. 💭✨
Now, it’s time for firsts! 🍼👣
We get to enjoy having all our kids under the same roof 🏠💕. We get to experience her at home, surrounded by her things, our things, her family. 🌟 She’s getting to know her home while we’re all getting used to this new, beautiful normal. And you know what? That first night went better than we ever imagined! 🌙🌟 With all the kiddos together, we literally cannot stop smiling. 😄💖
💜 A little backstory about our miracle 💜:
Violet Rose Seck was born on November 13th at 6:19 AM, weighing 3lbs 6oz and measuring 16 ½ inches long. 🌷 She spent 4 days in the NICU before moving to NICU Special Care, a step closer to coming home. 🏩✨ She stayed in an incubator most of the time, and just 2 days before discharge, transitioned to an open crib. 🛏️ And now… on December 3rd, we finally brought her home. 🎉
This journey has been long, hard, and full of challenges, but we made it through. 💪❤️ Every step has made us stronger, more patient, and more understanding than we ever thought possible. There is nothing we can’t get through—we’ve proven that over and over again! 🌈💖
So here’s to closing one chapter 📖 and starting the next. 🥂 Here’s to our new journey. 🚀
