Grab &Go

I’m still trying to figure out Saturday and Sunday lunches. We meal prep for my boyfriend and I’s Monday- Friday lunches and by the weekend I run out of ideas and food on the fridge.

This Costco egg bites have been my saviors!! The egg bites taste great, they’re soft, flavorful and reheat really good.

They are also great in a wrap with avocado and bacon 🤌🏻

... Read moreWeekend lunches can often be a challenge, especially when your fridge is running low after a busy workweek. From my own experience, having staple grab-and-go items like Costco's sous vide egg bites can make all the difference. These egg bites are not only delicious and easy to reheat, but their balanced macronutrient profile—around 160 calories, 20% protein, 28% fat, and 52% carbs—helps keep you fueled without feeling heavy. To elevate your weekend meals, try adding fresh ingredients like avocado and crispy bacon by wrapping them with the egg bites in a soft wrap or English muffin. This combination adds variety and extra flavor, while still being quick and easy to prepare. Pairing such meals with low-calorie sparkling drinks or a natural energy boost like a Shirley Temple-inspired drink can keep you refreshed and energized for the day. Meal prepping doesn’t have to stop on weekends; instead, use it as an opportunity to experiment with new ideas to keep your lunches exciting. Incorporating satisfying options like these supports weight loss goals by maintaining portion control and balanced nutrition. If you enjoy meal prepping, look for similar ready-to-eat or minimal-prep products at places like Costco or your local grocery store, focusing on items that are both tasty and nutritious. By integrating these versatile grab & go meals, your weekend lunches become enjoyable, stress-free, and align with a healthy lifestyle.
