Is Lemon8 niche driven?
I’ve spent some time on this app now looking at other posts and posting. I’ve noticed that people with more followers tend to focus on one thing. Whether it’s fitness, lifestyle, finance, makeup, etc.
I don’t want to have a “niche” per se. I like to cover many topics. Whether it’s military, pets, eco friendly, fitness, etc.
My post that got the most attention was the post about booktok. And that was me posting my opinion. But other posts about other things get little to no views? I’m not complaining. I’m very grateful for what I get and the traffic I get in general.
I’m not sure if it’s just my feed or not. But I feel like I see a lot of “it girls”. A lot of girls who have the perfectly edited posts, pristine makeup, and hair that looks just right. Honestly, I work full time and go to school, and have a lot of commitments outside of all that. I give HUGE PROPS to you ladies who can dress up and do your makeup/hair every day. You all look so beautiful. But I can’t keep up with social media if it’s like that.
Thank you all for listening to my little rant. All you ladies are so so so gorgeous and beautiful, but I think I will stick with my gym rat/bum look for now. 🩵🩵🩵🩵
P.S. I am not trying to hate on anyone, I am just trying to make sense of how this app works and how to be seen without sticking to ONE topic/thing.
