Fibonacci Fiddlehead
I was out cutting back my garden and this fiddlehead decided to pose for me.
Fiddleheads remind me of the Fibonacci sequence, the pattern through which life seems to unfold.
While I am not a very good math person, this is the formula:
F_n = F_{n-1} + F_{n-2}
Basically, it means each number in the sequence is the sum of the two before it.
1+1= 2
2+1 = 3
3+2 = 5
5+3 = 8
8+5 = 13
13+8 = 21
It’s one of the things I love about gardening; there’s always something unfolding. Sorry if that was cheesy, but I mean it. 😜
