While scrolling through Pinterest, I found this beautiful inspiration to decorate my room 🦋.
I got to work using materials I already had ♻️. I found these butterflies at a thrift store and decided to give them a vintage twist 🎨.
I used water-based acrylic paint, a permanent marker, alcohol, and an old nail file—don’t forget your brushes 🖌️!
With the marker, I added some details and used a bit of alcohol to fade the ink. Then I painted parts of the butterflies in two colors and gently scratched off some paint with the nail file for a worn-out effect 🪄.
It’s a budget-friendly, easy DIY to add a unique touch to your room without spending much.
