SOULMATE STORY!! A world where everything is black and white until you come into contact with your soulmate. A webcomic in the making!! :)
Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share a deeper dive into the webcomic I'm working on, especially for those of you who adore a good soulmate story. You know that classic trope where the world is in black and white until you meet your soulmate? Well, I'm putting my own spin on it, and it's been such a fun and challenging journey bringing it to life! Imagine living your entire existence in shades of grey. Every tree, every sky, every face – a monochrome canvas. Then, one day, you bump into someone, and suddenly a splash of red catches your eye. Or maybe a vibrant blue. That's the magic I'm exploring! My characters experience a literal burst of color, not just metaphorically, when their soulmate enters their life. It's not just about finding 'the one,' but about discovering a whole new way of seeing the world, filled with emotions and hues they never knew existed. What makes this webcomic special, I think, is the emotional depth. It's not always a smooth, fairytale meeting. Sometimes, finding your soulmate can be intense, even dramatic. Just recently, I was sketching a scene for the webcomic that really captures this raw emotion. It features two male characters, caught under an umbrella in the pouring rain at night. One, with dark hair, is holding the umbrella, his face etched with concern. The other, with lighter hair, is visibly crying – you can almost hear him asking, 'What are you doing here?' It's a moment of vulnerability and surprise, hinting at a complex history and an unexpected encounter that will undoubtedly change their world forever. I've always been fascinated by the idea of fated connections, and this webcomic is my love letter to that concept. It's about how these connections can challenge us, make us question everything, and ultimately, bring untold beauty into our lives. I'm focusing on the journey, the struggles, and the profound impact these soulmate encounters have. What does it mean when your entire perception of reality shifts? How do you navigate a world that suddenly explodes with color when you've only known grey? It opens up so many possibilities for storytelling! I'm pouring my heart into every panel, trying to convey the wonder, the confusion, and the overwhelming joy (and sometimes pain!) of this unique soulmate bond. It's still in the making, but I can't wait to share more with you all as it progresses. What are your favorite soulmate tropes, and what kind of colorful moments would you love to see in a story like this? Let me know in the comments!

Love your sharing 💛 Welcome:)
