Instead of a bulky, dedicated changing table, consider a sturdy dresser with a removable changing pad on top. This way, the dresser can transition from baby clothes storage to general bedroom storage as your child grows. Look for compact wooden cribs or mini cribs that offer both comfort and safety without taking up too much floor space. A comfortable, but not oversized, white armchair can be a lifesaver for late-night feedings and cuddles, and it can easily be incorporated into your bedroom decor. I also love how a sleek black storage unit with woven baskets can keep essentials neatly tucked away – perfect for baby clothes, wipes, and diapers without adding clutter. Don't skimp on the decor, even in a small space! These personal touches are what make it feel special. A charming gallery wall with framed art can add personality and a focal point above the crib or changing area. Consider incorporating soft, whimsical elements like a green moss wreath mobile with pink hanging elements above the crib. Lighting is key; a gentle pink moon lamp provides a comforting glow for night feeds, while a small floor lamp can offer ambient light without harshness. Remember, you can still add those adorable details like a brown knitted blanket with your baby's name, 'Willow,' embroidered on it, or a playful striped baby onesie displayed on a tiny wooden rack. Finally, storage is every parent's best friend. In a nursery corner, it’s even more important to maximize every inch. Utilize vertical space with floating wooden shelves above the changing station for books, lotions, and other frequently used items. Woven baskets, like the ones I use, are fantastic for organizing everything from toys to extra blankets and even dirty laundry.
