Is this a Rugosum Philodendron? 🌱

I started this phil a year ago from a seed kit I got on clearance. It took months to sprout, but when it did, it grew fairly quickly.

I believe it’s a Rugosum, but it didn’t specify on the kit so I can’t be sure. Can anyone confirm?

As a beginner, it's important to note that these plants thrive in bright, indirect sunlight and prefer well-draining soil. Watering should be moderate; allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings to prevent rot. Philodendrons generally are resilient and can adapt to various indoor environments, making them ideal for both novice and experienced plant parents. This specific variety may exhibit leaf textures that can differ due to various factors, including light exposure and soil quality. If you’re unsure about identifying your plant, consider researching online or visiting a local plant shop for guidance. Additionally, be aware that like many houseplants, philodendrons can be susceptible to pests such as spider mites and mealybugs. Regularly inspect your plant for any signs of distress or infestation. Engaging with online communities or forums using hashtags like #plants, #philodendron, and #plantlover can also provide valuable insights and support from fellow enthusiasts.
