Healing not Healed
🤷🏾♀️ People can say whatever they want. Actions always speak louder than words. That's just my thought on it though is all...
Healing is often seen as a final destination, but from my experience, it’s more of a continuous journey—one that requires patience, self-awareness, and the courage to face both internal and external challenges. People around us may say all kinds of things, but it’s important to remember that true healing isn’t always visible through words alone; it shows in our actions, the ways we protect ourselves, and the gradual rebuilding of our trust and self-worth. I’ve learned that carrying hidden pain can be isolating. The OCR lines about keeping memories locked away and feeling unheard resonate deeply—sometimes we feel like no one truly understands or takes us seriously. Yet, healing involves finding moments to safely express ourselves and gaining strength through those who listen without judgment. One aspect that stands out is the recognition of self in the process of being shaped and molded, like clay. Healing involves transformation, and while it might feel slow or incomplete at times, each step forward helps reveal our true self more clearly. For me, actions like setting boundaries, calling out what’s wrong, or simply praying and hoping for peace are all part of the healing journey. It’s an ongoing process of balancing vulnerability with strength and learning to give ourselves permission to be imperfect and still worthy. Ultimately, healing is not about rushing to a finish line but embracing the process with kindness and acknowledging that it’s okay to still be healing, even when the world expects otherwise.
