i was born and raised in central jersey so naturally, i grew up with subway as my all time favorite chain sub shop (local delis did it better though). i think subway is still my favorite but last night i was gardening 🍃, got hungry, and ordered from a nearby firehouse subs on a whim.
i wasn’t disappointed!! the sub was fresh and hit the spot, i just wish there was more options for customization (but i might just be spoiled from all those years of subway). the garlic bread was insanely cheap (less than $2 at my location) for the portion size and how buttery and soft and garlicky it was?!? the cookies were soft and big too— my fiance and i devoured those SO FAST.
overall i’d give it an 8.5/10!
