We just need to trust

It has been more than a year since that ordeal.

Today, I want to pause and praise God, by sharing this piece of good news —

a reminder that God is beyond just good.

My little boy not only survived a very close brush with death,

he went on to sit for his O Levels just one month later,

and by God’s grace, scored 7 distinctions.

Three months after that, during his heart review,

the doctors told us he was left with a cleft in his heart.

They said he could no longer participate in strenuous exercise or competitive sports —

the very things he loved most.

We accepted it.

We trusted God.

We kept praying.

And today…

other than a miracle, nothing can explain this.

The cleft in his heart has miraculously healed.

I sing praise and thanksgiving to God for His glory and His goodness.

If you are reading this, take heart — this testimony is not just for me.

It is for you and me.

God is so good,

as long as we continue to reach out to HIM 🤍🙏

... Read moreReading about this incredible story of healing and faith deeply resonates with me, reminding me how powerful trust and prayer can be in the face of medical challenges. With the diagnosed mitral regurgitation and history of infective endocarditis, many would expect lasting limitations, especially in physical activity. Yet, this boy’s recovery defies expectations — a true miracle that also aligns with his doctors’ memo from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital stating he is currently well, asymptomatic, and even fit to participate in all normal school activities including competitive sports. As someone who has witnessed the impact of heart conditions on daily life, I can appreciate the physical and emotional challenges involved. Mitral valve prolapse and moderate mitral regurgitation often require careful management, including the need for prophylactic antibiotics during dental or surgical procedures to prevent infective endocarditis. However, routine immunizations are still safe and essential, helping maintain overall health. What strikes me most is how faith intersects with medical care here — the family accepted initial medical advice yet continued to pray and trust for a better outcome. This story beautifully illustrates that hope, combined with appropriate clinical follow-up and adherence to medical advice, can coexist and complement each other, providing emotional strength and resilience. For families facing similar situations, this testimony offers reassurance that miracles can happen, encouraging them to hold onto hope and stay vigilant with medical guidance. Emphasizing gratitude and praise further supports mental well-being during recovery, which is just as important as physical healing. If anything, this story is a powerful reminder to never underestimate the human spirit and the blessings that can come from relentless positivity and faith. I encourage anyone navigating health challenges to keep faith alive while actively engaging in their treatment plans and advocating for their well-being. Whether it’s through prayer, medical care, or community support, there are many pathways to healing and peace. This heartfelt testimony is a beacon for all to trust in God’s goodness and embrace hope — truly inspiring and uplifting.

Realistic investments for your 30s ✨🥹
Alright peopleeeee we are heading into the mid-30s soon. There’s so much noise about aging, and I know people who will never reveal their age but there is so much freedom in just embracing it. Also, can we talk about how the 30s are so much better than the 20s? No complaints here. My husband
