A warm bath with mild, kitten-safe soap, or simply using a flea comb, can work wonders. Be sure to keep them warm during and after the bath, as tiny kittens can get hypothermia easily. Maintaining their body temperature is vital; a warm, cozy bed, perhaps with a heating pad set on low (always with a towel barrier), can make a huge difference. Feeding these tiny bundles of joy requires special attention too. Three-week-old kittens aren't typically weaned yet, so they'll need kitten formula administered with a bottle every few hours. It’s a round-the-clock commitment, but watching them grow and thrive makes every sleepless night worth it. Learning to stimulate them to go to the bathroom is also part of the routine, mimicking what their mama cat would do. Once they're past the initial critical stage, creating a stimulating and safe environment is key to their development. Kittens, just like our black kitten and orange kitten, Sushi and Simba, are naturally curious and playful. Providing them with a variety of textures and safe spaces to explore helps build their confidence. It’s amazing how much joy a plain box can bring, turning into a fort, a hiding spot, or a wrestling arena. Introducing them to different sounds, gentle handling, and supervised playtime helps them become well-adjusted, friendly cats. Watching Sushi and Simba explore their new world, chase after toys, and snuggle up together must be incredibly fulfilling.
