This was a charming book that I recently came across, and I found it both entertaining and heartwarming. The story follows Dakota, a single mother who has been running away from her past, and now must confront it. She is faced with the challenge of revealing to the man she had a one-night stand with that he is the father of her child. Additionally, she must navigate the complexities of her childhood home and decide on the next steps regarding it. Furthermore, she develops feelings for both Reid and Sawyer.
What I sincerely hope we could include more of is the backstories of the main characters and the history of their friendships.

What truly stands out in this novel is how it explores the life of Dakota, a single mother grappling with her past decisions and unexpected parenthood. These elements would offer added richness and connection to the characters’ motivations and growth. Overall, High Ridge Ranch Cowboys is highly recommended for readers who enjoy wholesome, heartfelt romances with strong emotional narratives and a touch of suspense surrounding family secrets. It fits well within the popular HEA (Happily Ever After) genre and celebrates themes of love, resilience, and starting anew.
