I hope this helps anyone dealing with a difficult relationship, friendship, partnership... etc. over the years I learned that it is so important to maintain your peace for your own well-being. the other person doesn't care if ur hurting & losing sleep over them... that's why you are in this situation in the first place cuz they do NOT care. never EVER destroy your peace trying to calm someone else's storm. taking on the role of a parental figure in a relationship, begging someone to act right while they sit back without a care in the world, will destroy you. it is not worth your energy. you can go to sleep at night knowing you did everything you could to try & make things work. just remember, you are not their mother, you shouldn't need to beg someone to act right & to treat you with basic respect. you should never sacrifice your well being & peace for the sake of someone else. there is someone out there who will go to the ends of the earth for you. remember to take time & fill ur cup up. if you don't fill your own cup, other people will leave you dry.
